  • The OA Beach Cities Website is meant to be used for informational purposes only, and to provide a place for peer-support to the friends and family of those suffering, and to those who suffer with Compulsive OverEating or other eating Disorders themselves. It is meant to give you some hope and incentive in reaching out for help, and to be a reference place of resources to get you started on your own personal road to recovery, through national organizations, local treatment options, on-line support, and links to other websites on the topic. Most of all it is meant as a reminder to everyone out there suffering, "you are never alone".

  • Your privacy is important to us, but it is important to remember that the Internet is a public place. Any information that we collect when you sign up for any OA Beach Cities service is completely confidential. Because of the nature of communication through the Internet, we do not accept memberships to any area of the site from anyone who is under thirteen years of age without prior parental permission. If we find that a member is under the age of 13 their membership will be immediately suspended and an attempt to contact their parents will be made. This is in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. If you are over the age of thirteen, for your own safety we ask that when you do sign up for any service on OA Beach Cities, or any other place on the Internet, you please be careful with the personal information you choose to share including your last name, e-mail address, home address or telephone number. Use a nickname and e-mail address that will protect you from the public getting personal or use OA Beach Cities office phone number to use instead of your own if you would like. Messages left will be returned and passed on.
